Ringswell Badminton Club

Ringswell is a friendly club based in the centre of Exeter, Devon. We play during the winter season from the beginning of September to the end of April. We have a number of teams playing in the Exeter & District League, but run club nights too so if you are interested in playing please come along. Click here for times and venues.

In recent years we have had 3 mixed, 2 ladies, 2 mens and 1 knock out team in the Exeter and District league but with more players that could be increased. In the 2011/2012 season two of our teams have won their divisions, namely the mens A team and the mixed C team.

We have membership fees for the season, please enquire when you come along. Fees will be reduced if you join part way through a season and any visitor fees already paid will also be taken into account.

Knock-out Plate Runners Up Mar 2013

From a recent report in the Express & Echo:
ADAM Brown described himself as ‘over the moon’ after collecting the Young Volunteer of the Year award.
The 16-year-old Exeter College student is a boccia official and coach, volunteers with the Special Olympics Exeter & District club twice a week, and coaches youngsters at Isca Badminton Club.
“I am over the moon, I really am,” said Brown. “I really enjoy everything I do and love helping the youngsters both at the badminton club and the Special Olympics.
“This will definitely inspire me to keep going and I am really touched by this. It was really nice to be nominated but to win it is great.
“It has all really helped me come along as a person and it has been really good.”
